Large format scanner LFS1225 in action

MiriSys LFS1225 large format scanner with a cardboard template on the glass scanning plane

New video · MiriSys LFS

We have just published a new video that shows the MiriSys Large Format Scanner LFS1225 in real operation – from placing a physical cardboard template to exporting digitized vector data.

New video

MiriSys Large Format Scanner – LFS1225

The LFS1225 handles templates up to 1200 × 2500 mm. In the video you can see how the closed scanning box and the integrated lighting help capture a cardboard blank in one pass, without the changing ambient light of an ordinary camera setup.

Scanning area

1200 × 2500 mm

Large paper and cardboard templates are captured in a single pass – no stitching and no reassembling of the image.

Cameras

2× Canon DSLR

Two cameras capture the complete surface, including internal construction details such as folds, creases and cut-outs.

Output

Vector data

The result is not only an image – MiriSys software exports structured geometry in ASTM, AAMA, DXF or SVG formats.

Why it matters

From a physical template to production data

The video completes the two previous articles: the first explained why an ordinary scanner is not enough for production, the second introduced the LFS hardware. Now you can see the whole workflow in practice.
